Ruled by the to-do list

Friday, September 14th, 2007

It’s been a very long time since I wrote anything here - maybe the longest since I started this blog. Essentially, I’ve been out of time - on the flight from California to Seattle, on the eventual way back to New York (there was a stop at the Bumbershoot music festival for a day or two), I wrote up a to-do list that eventually reached 50 items, and I’ve been working through that list ever since. Some of the items were related Semantic Forms, and you can partially plot out what I’ve been doing based on the version history, though that doesn’t tell the whole story. There’s also been a lot of Javascript work for my brother’s company, Eye-Fi, which is set to release their first product sometime in the next few months. From having seen the technology at work rather extensively, I predict that it will be huge next year - maybe even as big as semantic wikis, ha ha. There have also been more mundane things, like online purchases, setting up a PayPal account, writing people back, and, um, a few things that don’t actually require me being at a computer (I think there were a few in there). It’s down now to a more-manageable 23 items, which is heartening.
